Matt Kalkhoff from Edge took part to a roundtable interview with Madonna and select members of the LGBT press that took place last Monday at Interscope’s Midtown Manhattan offices.

Madonna opens her heart to Howard Stern

Howard Stern was audibly thrilled to finally have Madonna on his SiriusXM radio show – to the point that the live Wednesday broadcast was moved to the afternoon to accommodate her schedule.

In their 90-minute interview, Stern, who is unequivocally the best interviewer currently on the air in any medium (it also helps that he can ask questions uninterrupted by commercials), probed into her childhood, her relationship with Michael Jackson and her thoughts on drugs. Read More

New interviews: LA Times, Out, Towerload, Logo…

It really seemed that Madonna was promoting Rebel Heart in a massive way during her short visit to Europe, but all expectations were exceeded when she returned to the U.S. and started appearing literally everywhere. And so far, it has only been album reviews and press junkets in video or text form, with the best – visually and artistically – yet to come.

Here’s a round-up of the latest Madonna interviews that were published this week and didn’t make our news page yet. Read More
