The first-ever FIFA World CupTM Final Halftime Show opened in the tunnels of New York New Jersey Stadium with an electrifying performance by Madonna, riding in a dune buggy driven by Brazilian football legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
Madonna performed a new version of her 2000 hit Music, interpolated with Disco Inferno by The Trammps and her recent single Danceteria from her critically acclaimed new album Confessions II.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 TM Final Halftime Show was in benefit of the Global Citizen Education Fund, a landmark initiative raising money to expand access to quality education and sports for children in underserved communities worldwide and was produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted. The 11-minute show was curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin as part of his ongoing role as international curator of the Global Citizen Festival.
