Hold Tight makes its debut today, Friday July 24th, as the new single from Madonna’s Rebel Heart in Italy, Universal Music has announced.

This doesn’t make Hold Tight the fourth single from the Queen of Pop’s latest album, though, as this was only planned for the Italian market, where Ghosttown was still huge when Bitch I’m Madonna became the new single in the US and other territories. Read More

30 Years Ago Today: Live Aid

Thirty years ago today, on July 13, 1985, from the JFK Stadium in Philadelphia to the Wembley Stadium in London, England, the world experienced what a 16-hour music show live via satellite is like.

The Live Aid benefit concert was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to support the starving people of Ethiopia and set a milestone for the music generation of the 80’s. To many, it also helped giving a face – and a body – to a female artist who had just started to set the world on fire. Read More
