Thirty years ago today, on July 13, 1985, from the JFK Stadium in Philadelphia to the Wembley Stadium in London, England, the world experienced what a 16-hour music show live via satellite is like.

The Live Aid benefit concert was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to support the starving people of Ethiopia and set a milestone for the music generation of the 80’s.
