50 Dance Remixes
Madonna herself lets you know she’s currently in the studio working on 50 dance remixes of her #1s with Mike Dean and a little help from Honey Dijon.
Last week Madonna’s updates happened straight in her Instagram stories, with images captioned with a little present for my fans… coming soon! 50 #1s and You Can Dance! and videos of her listening to remixes of some of her hits.
These updates follow the ones she posted on Instagram right before Christmas last year, when she said it was
so great to be back in the studio making music again and warned us about suprises in the New Year.
At the time we saw her with Crave co-witer Swae Lee, Lauren D’Elia, Mike Dean and Jozzy.
Madonna made music history once again in February 2020 becoming the first musician to collect 50 top hits on any chart when she collected a landmark 50th #1 on the Dance Club Songs chart with I Don’t Search I Find.
At the time Madonna told Billboard.com:
Dance is my first love, so every time one of my songs is celebrated in the clubs and recognized on the charts it feels like home!!
I never take the support of my fans for granted and it’s always like the very first time.
Madonna’s 50 Dance Club Songs #1s are actually more than 50 songs, as some of her ’80s hits charted on Billboard as double singles (Holiday/Lucky Star and Angel/Into the Groove); moreover, one of the entries was released commercially as a single (Impressive Instant), while one made the chart as part of a remix pack (Spotlight in You Can Dance).

The potential track list could see 22 songs not included on her previous compilations (marked with *). And more surprises could sneak in as unreleased bonus tracks if the new music she’s been working on at the end of 2021 was aimed to this project, too.
