Madame X doesn’t kiss and tell
Back from his week in LA, MadonnaTribe reader Ryan wanted to give some more info about the first two Los Angeles dates of Madame X at the Wiltern.

Before taking the polaroid, Madonna complained about a draft coming from an open door in house left.
Polaroid auction went to a guy named Terry. Madonna made fun of him for wearing a velvet prom tux to her show. He offered $5,000. Then, a woman came up and offered $6,000. Madonna told her that just “made her p*ssy really wet”. She asked the woman what she did and she said she was a cook. She then asked the woman where her $6,000 was and she pulled out a credit card. Madonna told her she doesn’t take plastic and that her “p*ssy is now all dried up” then she gave the polaroid to Terry.
During the beer bitch moment, when she was trying to talk to David Blaine, Terry said something to her and she turned to him and said “Be quiet, Terry– I don’t talk to guys in velvet prom tuxes”.
I thought it funny that she remembered his name.

Before taking the Polaroid, Madonna again complained about a draft coming from an open door in house left. She asked for a fur coat, preferably a fake fur, but she was so cold she would take a real one, too.
Madonna took two Polaroids because she wasn’t sure the first one looked good. She had a tough time getting any serious offers.
One woman offered $1,000 and she said she would have to do better than that. At some point during the negotiation, a dancer brought Madonna a purple/pink fur coat (looks like one maybe worn by one of the dancers during Crave?) and Madonna put it on. Madonna then asks for more money and a guy comes up and says “Soho House would like to offer you $2,000”. Madonna tells him she knows Soho House is loaded so it would take more than that. But, she got no further offers, so she asks to see $2,000 cash. The guy whips out a credit card, and she seemed annoyed so went back to the first woman who had $1,000 cash. She mentions how the color of her fur coat matches the color of the woman’s hair. She says the woman won the auction, but she is giving her the worst of the two Polaroids because it was only $1,000. She then says that she has never had to work so hard for money before.
She then went on with the show. She took off the fur before taking her guitar for American Life.
Before Madonna plays the guitar during the fado section, she takes off one of her lace gloves. When the song ends and she goes to put her glove back on, it isn’t sitting right next to her and her dancer takes a second to find it and hand it to her. She says something to him like “is this gonna happen at every show now?”
The beer bitch moment was a guy from Sydney, Australia. As she drank his beer, she said “I’ll drink your backwash. I love all my fans so much, I’ll drink your backwash.”
He then asked if he could ask her a question. Madonna responded back “Are you asking if I want to play truth or dare?” The whole crowd roared.
He asked “Where is the wildest place you’re ever had sex?”… She thought about it for a while then said: “There’s no place too wild! Maybe a Catholic Confessional?” But then she laughed and said just kidding.
So then he asked, WHO is the best sex she has ever had, and Madonna said something along the lines of “I’m not going there. Madame X doesn’t kiss and tell.” The whole crowd cheers again. Then she asks for a drum roll and says “The answer is — MYSELF!!!!” Then, she continues with the rest of the show.
I noticed that Madonna seemed to give it her all on the first LA show, but her dancing was more restrained on the second. She had kinesiology tape on her left this behind her knee. She struggled to do the butterfly maneuver during Medellín. She didn’t put as much energy into her dancing for Crave.
On another note, my 41st birthday was November 15th, so it became my birthday as the show went past midnight. As Madonna left during I Rise, she grabbed my hand! Amazing birthday!!!!
Madame X returns at the Wiltern tonight, November 19 – show No. 5 of her 10 nights in Los Angeles.
Special thanks to Ryan.
Just remembered one more detail–
