“I Rise” hits the Italian radios tomorrow
Universal Music has picked up I Rise as the new single from Madame X to be sent to the Italian radio stations. The radio date is tomorrow, Friday 4 October 2019.
I Rise is the third radio single for the Italian market. It follows the extremely long residency of Medellín, the first single from Madame X that has been certified Gold in Italy and spent several weeks in the airplay Top 10, and Crave, that was sent to radios at the end of July.
Originally the ballad wrapping up the Madame X tracklist, I Rise turned into a dance anthem when it received various remix treatments from the likes of Tracy Young, DJLW, Kue, Offer Nissim, Thomas Gold, Daybreakers , Dj Irene & The Alliance , Country Club Martini Crew, Drew G and Dinaire+Bissen. The remixes helped Madonna reach the top of the Dance Club Songs chart for the 48th time, extending her own record as the artist with the most No. 1s in the list as well as the most topper on any singular Billboard chart. Two digital remix EPs have been released to bring a selection of the promotional tracks available to the general public.
I Rise is also the only single from Madame X that has been release commercial in a physical commercial format so far, as a 7″ vinyl (with the instrumental version of the song as Side B) included in the Deluxe Boxset of Madame X.
Performed live for the very first time at World Pride in New York City last June, I Rise is now the encore song of the Madame X theatre show.
