Hello there Did I say Berlin 28\/11 would be mine last Celebration Tour concert? How wrong I was when floor A tickets for 2\/12 reappeared on Ticketmaster.nl as late as on Friday afternoon so without much hesitation I purchased them straight away along with an inexpensive flight from Warsaw, all planned in less than 30 hours before the actual what was going to be my 6th concert. Amsterdam<\/strong> welcomed us with sunny weather but minus temperatures and strong, chilly wind. We decided not to queue due to cold as getting first row in the ‘cake area’ (as we call it among Polish fans) makes little sense. Doors opened after 7pm and to our surprise with floor A tickets we could only access left or right side of the stage. Not even those queueing from morning hours were let it into the cake area. It turned out that even though Floor A<\/strong> was marked as an area covering both cake, left and right sides, only Early Entrance and some lucky and smart souls were let in to the centre of action. I believe similar thing happened only in Paris before. One can wonder if it is a subject to official complain? Unfortunately I don’t think anyone at Live Nation<\/strong> cares much about customer service when they have a monopoly on major names in the industry… Having discussed pros and cons we chose less popular and actually ‘less Madonna’ side ie. right where she briefly appears for Human Nature<\/strong> or Mother and Father<\/strong>. I think the biggest challenge with this tour is not Madonna’s health as we all feared (thank god, she’s fine now!) nor the setlist\/choreography as these are both superb, but actually the view you’re getting from the sits\/places you’re in. Some artistic stage decisions are, to say at least, debatable- for instance when a curtain covers whole Madonna during Burning up or Mother and father. Anyhow – we tried to enjoy our places fully. Madonna had a good time too, she was teasing with audience for their low understanding of English, but having worked with some Dutch people, I would say is the opposite. She sang few lines from ‘Causing a commotion<\/strong>‘ before BU and even took her shoe off for a moment as something was disturbing her. The guest drag queen Miss Fame<\/strong> enjoyed her role to the fullest, I believe she understood the style of Ballroom section and she played along with it. Having seen 6 guests, I guess she took most out of it, which was pleasure to watch.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
