The first chapter in the history of the Madame X<\/strong> theatre show came to an end last night with the final performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music<\/strong>, the opera house that has been home to Madonna and her tour family since the beginning of the production rehearsals at the end of August.<\/p>\n The show run over the course of a month at the BAM<\/strong>, with the first show initially planned for 12 September and later postponed due to a delay of the highly specialized production elements. In a month’s time we learnt what songs Madonna performs on stage, which are the themes and the inspiration for the costume and stage designs, how is her interaction with the audience in an intimate venue, and what’s like to attend a theatre show without using a mobile phone.<\/p>\n The Madame X Tour<\/strong> was acclaimed by the critics and praised by the fans, and it didn’t take long to adjust to the fact that no official footage was released to the media and that only a handful of images were given to the press – with Madonna taking the lead as the one and only source of visual output from inside the performance area.<\/p>\n October<\/strong> begun with the news of a show being cancelled – the second overall – to help Madonna heal from a knee injury that according to the lady herself occurred backstage during rehearsal.
