Madonna was one of the public figures mentioned in one of the strips of Charlie Hebdo‘s latest issue – the first to be published after the terrorist attack to the offices of the satirical French magazine where 12 people lost their lives last week.
One of the features of today’s issue – an instant sell out around the world – was called “Premiere Bilan Des Jours D’Après” and was made of a double column with the + and the – that happened in the days that followed the attack – drawn in Charlie’s very own style. Read More
Madonna is once again using her Instagram to make the strongest hints at what she’s currently busy with.
Her latest three images all reference the Greek myth of the Minotaur, the creature with a bull’s head and a human body who lived in the middle of the Labyrinth.
The first image she posted is a close-up of Francis Bacon‘s Study for Bullfight No 1, in the second image you’ll find tagged again her MDNA tour performers and choreographers Loic Mabanza, Chaz Buzan and Marvin Gofin while in the most recent image today Madonna tagged herself, Mert Alas, and Bessy NYC’s Doug Abraham. With a triplet of images on her Instagram profile (which as usual are likely to be re-posts of some of her fans’ artwork) Madonna announces her appearance at the 57th Grammy’s on February the 8th.
As usual, the people she tagged on her posts are strong hints of what to expect – among the names in last night’s images are stylist B Akerlund and dancers/choreographers Loic Mabanza, Marvin Gofin, Chaz Buzan and Lil Buck.
Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg also confirmed the news with a post on the social media:

On December 16, Madonna was in her New York apartment when she received word that more than a dozen unfinished demos for her forthcoming album had leaked. Her manager, Guy Oseary, was just returning to his Beverly Hills estate when he got the news. The album, Rebel Heart, was set for a late-April release, and thanks to a meticulous marketing plan and an inspired group of collaborators (including Diplo, Kanye West and Avicii), buzz was strong on the singer’s 13th studio full-length.
