Meet The Artists: Kamilla Arku

Kamilla Arku is the talented pianist you hear on track no. 14 of Confessions II, reviving the haunting notes of Erik Satie’s Gnossienne no. 1 on Betrayal.

A graduate of Yale University and the Royal Northern College of Music, Kamilla served as a piano coach and teacher during the Celebration Tour and has worked with Madonna’s three youngest daughters, Mercy James, Stella, and Estere.

In addition to performing, Kamilla is committed to volunteer efforts, and is the founder and Director of Music for Liberia, a nonprofit supporting young people in Liberia through music-based fundraising. She wrote on her Instagram:
