Holiday, Celebrate!
Madonna chose Italy again as the destination of her Summer vacation and birthday celebration this year.
As the Tribers remember she already visited Salento in 2017 and Sicily in 2022. This year her holiday was a little more articulated, with several stops in different beautiful locations and a yacht cruise.
She first landed in Genoa and headed to Portofino, where she was a special guest of her designer friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. This first stop caused a commotion as she was seen having a stroll in the streets of the beautiful italian village, photographed by many, and was condensed in the first of three Instagram posts.

The next stop saw Madonna flying to the Costa d’Amalfi airport and staying in Positano, ready for her birthday celebration on August 16 that this year was shaped as a private visit to the Pompeii archeological site at night.

When they left Positano, Madonna and her friends headed North travelling by boat. Bad weather conditions partly altered their itinerary and made space for an unexpected stop in the coastal city of Terracina, where Madonna made another visit to an ancient roman site. On the next day the party moved to the isle of Ponza – which was the original destionation for the night before. It was a rather quick stop: after having dinner, the yacht left Ponza and with a night trip reached Ostia, the place where the city of Rome meets the Tirrenian Sea.
Her roman holiday was a one-day trip with visits of two charming heritage sites: the Galleria and Palazzo Colonna and the Vatican Museums. In her third and last Instagram post covering her Italian holidays Madonna can also be spotted on the beautiful terrace of Vio’s Cooking on top of Palazzo Taverna.
