New Tour Merchandise Added
More exciting pieces of Tour Merchandise have been added to the Madonna Store.
The most stunning item – and arguably the most expensive – is the exact reproduction of the mythic Girlie Show Tour embroidered jacket, designed with the original manufacturer, Supermax Hardware, in Los Angeles.
The jacket features an embroidered Girlie Show Tour logo on left breast and a large embroidered Erotica mask across the back. Originally made in 1992, only 25 of these jackets were ever produced for Madonna and her dancers. The reproduction was made using Madonna’s personal jacket that she has preserved in her archive for 30 years.
Two replica t-shirts are also available: one is also from the Girlie Show era and is based on the 1993 concert tee featuring photography by Ellen Von Unwerth and the other one reproduces the coveted 1987 tour design for the Who’s That Girl Tour. Both t-shirts are updated for 2023 with a The Celebration Tour writing on the back in the style of the respective original tour logos.
An oversized and vintage wash long sleeve tee recreates the original 1990 Like A Prayer shirt and featurs the single’s artwork on the front and MLVC 1990 on the back.
A collaboration with Far From Ordinary, a pullover black hoodie features a rhinestone The Celebration Tour logo on the front and the M logomark on the back, inspired by The Confessions Tour.
Two new items are inspired by the Drowned World Tour: a replica of the black + rhinestone tank Madonna wore on stage in 2001 and a ecreation of the tour concert t-shirt with original design on the front and The Celebration Tour printed on the back.
Madonna and her friend, beauty industry legend Jerrod Blandino, collaborated on the Madonna Celebration Tour makeup collection, an exclusive limited edition beauty collection inspired by some of Madonna’s most iconic looks from her tours over the last four decades.
The first items available are a moisturizing lip plumper inspired by the naturally sexy, glossy lip Madonna wore during the legendary Virgin Tour, a hybrid gel-powder formula based on Madonna’s ethereal glow on the Who’s That Girl Tour, a portable mirror and a velvety, moisturizing matte lipstick based on the one Madonna used during her Blond Ambition Tour.
Two more new items are the exact reproduction of the 1993 viewfinder sold at the Girlie Show and featuring artwork by Steven Meisel and an updated version for The Celebration Tour with an artwork by Ricardo Gomes.
