I Love New York
Madonna kicked off the North American leg of The Celebration Tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last night taking the stage at 10;44 PM – a late start that didn’t seem that late as the crowd was quite slow in filling the arena – that ended up being completely full only around 10 PM. The show was opened by a dee-jay set by Honey Dijon.
If you can make it here you can make it anywhere. I love New York.
After casually singing a few lines of the song’s chorus on some European dates, Madonna performed a full mash-up of I Love New York over Burning Up to honour her return to the Big Apple. Her boxer beau Josh Popper was the guest judge.
The Celebration Tour returns to the Barclays Center for the second of three shows in Brooklyn tonight.
