Vote for Madame X at the VMAs!
The nominations for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards are in, and with Madame X in competition for the Best Longform Video Moon Man, Madonna becomes the only artist to be nominated in each and every decade since the VMAs began.
The Madame X concert special is Madonna’s 69th nomination at the Awards and the Queen of Pop has 20 wins so far including the Video Vanguard Award, The Immaculate Collection, and 18 music videos.
The 2022 nominees for Best Longform Video are:
- Billie Eilish: Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles – Darkroom / Interscope Records
- Foo Fighters: Studio 666 – RCA Records
- Kacey Musgraves: Star-Crossed – Interscope Records / MCA Nashville
- Madonna: Madame X – Interscope Records
- Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U – Geffen Records
- Taylor Swift: “All Too Well” (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) – Republic Records

Madonna’s Madame X movie, directed by Ricardo Gomes and SKNX, debuted on Paramount Plus and MTV on October 8, 2021.
The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will return to New Jersey’s Prudential Center in Newark on Sunday, August 28.
