Sunday night at The Palladium
The fourth Madame X show at The London Palladium started at 9:10 PM last night and was over at 10:55 PM. Madonna performed the shorter version of her set, opening again with Vogue following the Madame X manifesto.
This is the second time Madonna is able to perform two nights in a row thanks to a shorter set without being forced to cancel her show.
Other than that the night was a speedy but good run of the show. A quick Polaroid sale to a lady called Barbara and a weird beer share moment. Madonna spoke a bit about the Super Bowl and how her half time show was the best one ever.
During one of her chats with the audience Madonna referenced the quote from James Baldwin that can be seen in the show opener, though that bit was absent to last night’s show (as that part was cut along with God Control). When she realized that, she was like:
At the start of my show, I quote the great James Baldwin.
Well sometimes. (Laughs)
