Paris show No. 5
Doors at Le Grand Rex opened at 8 PM for the fifth Madame X theatre show in Paris last night.
Madonna didn’t follow her pattern for back-to-back nights and performed the numbers in the shorter version of the setlist. The show started at 10.35 PM and ended at 12.30 AM.
It was another rather complicated show from a series of reasons, starting from the fact Madonna is deep in pain for her injuries but decided not to cancel, and had a few difficult moments of interactions with the audience (sometimes the language barrier didn’t help either). As MadonnaTribe Forum member Bowling said, “it was emotional, brilliant brave, awkward and painful all at the same time.”
The stage at Le Grand Rex is very small and keeps causing troubles and sometimes the props and the projections are affected by the reduced depth of the room.
Again tonight, the Champagne bitch moment was replaced by La Vie En Rose.
