Tribe Lists – Magazine Covers 2019

Another Madonna year is ending and it’s time to look at what it brought to collectors, starting with the press.

We’ve had quite a few great magazines out this year. Most notably a stunning cover of British Vogue magazine with photography by Mert & Marcus and another fascinating photoshoot by JR for The New York Times Magazine for the release of the Madame X album.

Magazine collectors ended the year looking for all the three different colour logos of l’Officiel Italia released in mid December in Italy with pictures by Ricardo Gomes.

Madonna also returned on the cover of the Italian Vanity Fair (that reprised the Luigi and Iango 2016 photoshoot for the Harper’s Bazaar 150th anniversary issue) while the French Madame X exclusive went to Têtu with a “spy” image that we now associate to the cover of the I don’t search I find remix.

Let’s hope 2020 will bring more amazing and prestigious magazine covers to the Queen Of Pop and to her fans’ collections!
