Third night in Miami
Last night’s was the third Madame X show for MadonnaTribe longtime friend DyeAnotherDay. He saw the very first show of the tour in Brooklyn, and the very last night in Brooklyn. Here’s his report from the third night in Miami.
It was such a miserably hot day in Miami. My friend and I were both very worried and were very light clothing, but the hall was basically fine. Not too hot at all.
She came on at 11:15, and it took the longest time for the crowd to settle down. Miami is a party town and people just drank and drank and drank. The crowd was very rowdy, and actually a fight broke out behind me and security had to come. It took the longest time for the crowd to settle down
I think God Control is fabulous, but the entire first section is uneven, in my humble opinion. But after I don’t search I find, I think the show really took off and had a very nice smooth direction to it. It has been tweaked a little bit. Sodade is gone from the Portugal segment, and I would also swear that she has a new outfit as well. I could be wrong about that, since I haven’t seen any pictures of the tour.
Madonna said it was nice to be back in hot and humid Miami. She looked fantastic and seemed to have a lot of fun. She seemed very healthy, although my friend definitely pointed out that she just does not dance as much as she used to.
The Polaroid went to that guy Dino from Portugal, and she sat next to someone who was a neurosurgeon! For the beer. They seem to have a very nice interaction.
I really enjoyed the whole show. Absolute pandemonium broke out when she began walking up the aisle for I Rise. There was a spotlight on her, and she smiled and smiled and smiled, and came within about 15 feet from me. My friend commented that she looked like the cover of a magazine. She did not go all the way through the theater, she went up halfway and then left out the side door.
We were back out on the street at 2 AM.
Thanks to Steve.
