Never forget, artists are here to disturb the peace
The second Madame X show in Las Vegas was a complete turn around compared to Thursday night. Here is MadonnaTribe Forum member SimonVenekeo‘s report from The Colosseum:
Madame X started her show with about 80% seats….since she surprised us all and started at 10:45! (They did fill up as the show started)
She was ON FIRE tonight. Where Thursday was the worst show of my now 4 shows tonight was second best baby (Chicago on the 21 was the best because I got to fan girl with Detox).
She had more energy to spare and it was by Come Alive I honestly didn’t even feel the wall of tiredness, it you told me it was maybe 9:30 I would’ve believed it. The crowd was good to her, I couldn’t hear much heckling if any. She even treated us to Can’t Help Falling In Love when talking her journey to Portugal.
The Polaroid moment seemed short but sweet. Early bid of $2,100 which isn’t a lot it’s only 2 grand and $100 (as per Madonna lol), second bid was for $2,500 from Ana and I believe the winning bit was $3,000 by Gary (or maybe he bid more) who works at Google which Madonna said makes everyone lazy because ‘Look it up on Google, it must be true’ (like 500 people getting refunds perhaps). She mentioned that the pizza boy from Thursday short changed her. And to top it off she said Gary’s photo was rare because she was smiling!
The beer bitch moment was hysterical! At the stairs again and served by none other than Gary again. She made small talk with a couple who had been together for 16 years which blew Madonna away because they both looked happy. She asked if they had a prenup which they didn’t, which Madonna replied ‘Oh so you’re both broke’. Madonna said she wished she had one. When she asked if we enjoyed the show she got an enormous applause. She said we better because she’s making no money from the show and then laughed saying ‘You can’t take that away Guy Ritchie’.
Honestly the show compared to Thursday was a total turn around! This is the energy from both crowd and artist that we both feed off of.
And here is what Gary from San Francisco himself posted on Twitter this morning:
Hey @Madonna It’s “Gary from San Francisco”. Thank you Madame X for a truly unforgettable night in Las Vegas!
