Madonna to perform on Pride Island on June 30
Ending weeks of rumours and speculations, NBC broke the news today that Madonna will be appearing at Pride Island in NYC, where she’ll perform a few songs on June 30.
The news report featured a short video by the Stonewall Ambassador herself making the big announcement saying:
I hear you! I’ll be on Pride Island, where I was born.
She will also sit down for an interview with NBC’s very own Harry Smith.
Tickets to the event sold out in March after rumors spread about Madonna’s possible attendance.

Earlier in the night the official Twitter account for New York City Pride raised the bar of the expectations with a first teaser, then they reprised the NBC breaking news with the video below:
We’re proud to announce that Madonna will be appearing live at Pride Island on Sunday, June 30th where she will sing a couple of her songs. Tickets are now sold out. To learn more visit worldpride.org.
The version of the announcement video posted by Madonna herself on the Social Media is just a tad longer… cha cha cha.
