“Madame X is ready for you”
The last Madame X theatre show for the month of September 2019 started a little past 11 PM at the Brooklyn Academy of Music last night, ending at around 1.30 AM.
Madonna was in a great mood – she even sticked her tongue out cheekily to the fans who were waiting for her to come out from the artist’s entrance at the BAM one hour after the show ended – and as she’s been doing lately she posted an image from the show on her Social Media shortly before going on stage – this time we were able to see her at the piano performing Future.
As we go deeper into the tour Madonna got more loose with the spoilers and started posting images, videos and Stories that give us a clearer idea of what happens during the show. In the past few days we saw imagery from God Control, Human Nature, Vogue, Batuka and Crave, among others.
Celebrity spotting last night saw actors Zachary Quinto and James Franco enjoying the show while the Polaroid was sold to a fan for 4,000$ (and Madonna wasn’t able to spot a girl back in the audience offering 5K). The staff did an amazing job by having everyone stay at their seats and respect the no-phone policy (which means that if you get caught filming or taking pictures you will be escorted out of the room, as it happened last night). The ticket stub for last night’s show was yellow.
The Madame X band played some songs right before the show. They did instrumentals of several songs along with Madonna’s Secret, Don’t Tell Me, and Like a Virgin. Everyone loved it and sang along.
The Madame X Tour will be back in Brooklyn on Tuesday, 2 October.
