I’ll never be what society expects me to be
Time was up for the fifth Madame X show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music last night.
Not much to report so far and showtime apparenly went back to a more “standard” 10.30 PM. Collectors will be happy to know that the ticket stub you’re given before entering the performance space – where you section, row and seat number is written by hand by the venue staff as your electronic ticket on your phone will not be accessible during the show – premiered a fourth colour: red.
The dancer’s configuration was slightly changed because Madonna has one male dancer missing. As previously reported, two of the male tour dancers got injured during the warm ups of the 21 September show, they have a swing traveling on the show and they were able to cover one of the missing performers up – they are also planning to bring in another dancer from the Rebel Heart Tour to fill the gap and go back to the full configuration of four + four. Our best wishes go to the injured dancers for a fast recover!
The Polaroid was again sold to one member of the audience – last night it made $2,000.
Madonna had the chance to mention that the money goes to Raising Malawi.
Madonna shared another image from the show shortly before going on stage last night – this one shows the stage set-up during the intro to Medellín with the moving stairs taking the shape of a bairro scene while Madame X is at the typewriter. The picture was once again taken by Ricardo Gomes.
