Crave goes higher, I Rise debuts on the Billboard Charts
In the Billboard charts for the week of 20 July, 2019, Madonna and Swae Lee’s Crave moves up another place to No. 12, reaching its new peak on the Adult Contemporary chart.
Already Madonna’s highest peak since Frozen hit No. 8 on the 16 May 1998, Crave is also the greatest gainer in its 7th week on the chart.
Out of Madonna’s 37 songs in Adult Contemporary, Crave is now a tie with Open Your Heart and Express Yourself, that both peaked at No. 12 in 1987 and 1989 respectively. Madonna has 15 Top 10 hits and 5 No. 1s in the chart so far.
Crave also bounces back on Adult Pop Songs, coming up from last week’s No. 38 to No. 34, its new highest peak. This is Crave‘s in fifth week on the chart.
In Dance Club Songs, while Madonna and Maluma’s Medellín is still in the higher part of the 50-songs chart moving down two places to No. 13, the dance remixes serviced to the clubs make I Rise mark the highest ranking debut of the week at No. 26.
Last week the beautiful anthem – and closing song of the Madame X album – was just at the edge of the Billboard dance chart at No. 51.
