“A girl has to make a living”
It was show number seven for Madonna and her Madame X tour last night in Brooklyn.
Shortly before going on stage Madonna shared a video taken at the time she offers her selfie for sale to a member of the audience – giving those who didn’t have the chance to attend on the tour performances so far a much clearer idea of what happens in that special moment and how she interacts with the fans.
In case you wonder, the footage is from the 21 September show and the one who’s buying the Polaroid is indeed Juan, the fan from Madrid who shared his experience with the Tribe in the report we published three days ago!
Speaking of fans interaction, our friends at Madonna Fan Party had two special guests on their Facebook timeline: Jenny, who got the chance to share a beer with the Queen on the 24 September show and Israel, who took a sip and had a dream on the night of 22 September. Check their stories out!
Madonna also keeps sharing Instagram Stories you should not really miss – or that you should stay away from if you’re afraid of spoilers – shot both during rehearsals and actual showtime, revealing more and more of the stage design, choreography, costumes and projections.
Last night she teased about one major change during Like a Prayer that was introduced a couple of nights ago: the backdrop which was previously showing images of red and fire is now using footage from the 1989 videoclip directed by Mary Lambert, edited to suit the new arrangement and the special set-up used in the live performance.
