“If my husband would let me, I’d tattoo your name on my arm”
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show to promote the reboot of Will & Grace, the American sit-com’s co-stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack spilled some beans on what happened behind the scenes whith some of the show’s celebrity guests.
Talking about Madonna, who guest-starred as Liz – Karen’s potential roommate – in the Dolls and Dolls episode of Season Five back in 2003, they revealed the Queen of Pop didn’t have a clue who they were before meeting them on the set and that she couldn’t remember their names during the script reading.
“So I told her mine was Rachal, ” Messing explained “She said, “Really? That is my Kaballah name,” I said like, “How about that!”” so for the rest of the week she called me Rachal.” She also added: “When she finally realised that wasn’t my name she sent me a million roses with a note written to Dear Debra.”
“The same thing happened to me and she sent flowers and a note saying, ‘If my husband would let me, I’d tattoo your name on my arm,'” McCormack said.
