God is a Woman
Our beloved Ariana Grande teased both her and Madonna’s fans by hinting at something in a tweet on July 11…
thank you @madonna … u know why
…then she released her new video for God Is A Woman – directed by Dave Meyers and produced by Nathan Scherrer – at midnight, and the clip features an epic spoken cameo by the Queen of Pop herself – at the 2:22 mark. Check it out.
Madonna‘s speech is a reprise of Samuel L. Jackson‘s made-up piece “from Ezekiel 25:17” as featured in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film Pulp Fiction. Quite fittingly, Madonna‘s role in God Is A Woman is, well, that of God.
I will strike down upon thee, with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my sisters, and you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon you.
