A League of Their Own – The 25th Anniversary BD Edition
Sony Pictures announces the release of a 25th Anniversary Edition of A League of Their Own, the 1992 film directed by Penny Marshall and starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, and Rosie O’Donnell.
The movie will be released under their Home Entertainment catalogue as Blu-ray + Digital Copy with a MPEG-4 AVC codec, 1080p resolution and the original aspect ratio of 2.39:1. A League of Their Own will be available for purchase on April 18 as a Region A release.
The release includes an all-new special feature: Bentonville, Baseball & The Enduring Legacy of A League of Their Own and will also include 15 deleted scenes, a nine-part documentary featuring interviews with the cast and filmmakers, filmmaker commentary, theatrical trailer and Madonna’s This Used To Be My Playground music video.
