The final Rebel Heart Tour shows in the Billboard Boxscore
Data from the latest Billboard Boxscore are in adding the concerts of the last two legs of the Rebel Heart Tour to the tally of Madonna’s amazing 82 sold-out shows. Produced by Live Nation Global Touring, the Rebel Heart Tour kicked off in Montreal, Canada on September 9th, 2015 and visited arenas in 55 cities on four continents over seven months grossing $169.8 Million with 1,045,479 in attendance.
Madonna’s highest-grossing venue during the Asian leg was her two-night stand in the Tokyo metropolitan area at the Saitama Super Arena on February 13 and 14, Billboard reports. With $9,609,418 in ticket sales and a combined attendance of 37,706, the arena also ranked as the highest grossing venue throughout the entire six-month trek.
The smallest venue in the tour, Macau‘s exclusive Studio City Event Center saw Madona performing for two consecutive shows on February 20 and 21 in front of an average of only 3,700 people per night, yet grossing a stunning $8,265,771 due to the ticket prices ranging from $2,748 to $323.
The tour finale concerts at Sydney’s Allphones Arena on March 19 and 20, generated $6,052,001 in revenue, the top sales among the three venues of the final leg Down Under.
