Manila gets Crazy For You
The Rebel Heart Tour rocked the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila and once again Madonna made those shows unique by twisting things in the setlist.
Here are some updates posted right after the concerts on Wednesday and Thursday by MadonnaTribe Community member TopSpin.
On the first night, Madonna was in a pretty fierce mood right before True Blue. “Out of all the shows, I have never heard so many ‘fuck’ out of her mouth,” TopSpin reports.
After La Isla Bonita, Who’s that Girl was back in the setlist. Madonna told the audience that she only thought about singing this song five minutes before.
Then, she did Like a Prayer.
The crowd louldy asked for Crazy For You and Madonna answered that maybe she would perform it on the following day’s show.
Then, on the second night, the Medley was back and so was the beautiful gipsy costume. And yes, Madonna performed Crazy For You.
The song was in dedication to the ESDA (People Power Revolution) day which is a public holiday in Manila. Before Rebel Heart, she also mention that it was the first year anniversary of the Brits Award where she almost got killed by her two Japanese dancers.
