Madonna nominated for Top Touring Artist at the BBMA

The nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards have been announced today and Madonna is once again up for Top Touring Artist in tough competition with The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, the U2 and One Direction.

In the most recent editions of the Billboard Music Awards One Direction won as Top Touring Artist in 2015, Madonna was the 2013 winner and the U2 got the award in 2012 and 2011. The Rolling Stones were nominated in 2015 and Taylor Swift in 2012. The 2014 winner was Bon Jovi.

Ludacris and Ciara will host the Awards show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22. The event will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
