Tour Diary: “Vegas… burnt”
Madonna and her Rebel Heart Tour gang played Las Vegas last night and the MGM Grand Garden Arena was on fire for the Queen! Secret once again replaced Who’s That Girl in the setlist, which also included Ghosttown. Lots of friends backstage, too, as you may have noticed by the images that appeared on the social networks, and more fun when the crew joined DJ Lunice – who opened for Madonna at the show – at the official tour after party at the Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan.
The Rebel Heart Tour now enters the final week of its first leg, with a concert at The Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 27, and one at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego on Thursday, October 29.
As you well know this won’t mark the end of the North American leg of the Tour, though, as Madonna will come back to the U.S. in January 2016 to visit Atlanta, Miami and San Juan in Puerto Rico – whose shows were rescheduled and moved from the start to the end of the itinerary, and the newly added stops in Mexico City, San Antonio, Houston, Tulsa, Louisville and Nashville.
Now bizarrelly wrapped by American shows on both sides of the sandwich, the European leg will take the baton on November 4 and 5, kicking off with a double run at Lanxess Arena in Koln, Germany. But it’s not time yet to move the spotlight to the hot European audience, so California, show her what you’ve got!
