Tour Diary: “Rebel Hearts are willing to fight for what they believe in”
Madonna had another great show last night at the SportPalais in Antwerp for the Belgian stop of her Rebel Heart Tour.
She came on stage at 9.45 PM and performed a full set including the 80’s Medley, Who’s That Girl, and again Don’t Tell Me was a nice threat for the audience. “Rebel Hearts are willing to fight for what they believe in,” Madonna said.
The concert ended 5 minutes after midnight – an work started immediately to move the show to the German city of Mannheim where the Queen of Pop will perform tonight – making this the shortest laps between gigs in two different locations of the tour.
Last night’s Unapologetic Bitch was a guy from Nicaragua who sported a great Dita inspired outfit, and called himself Allan, then Dito, then Madonna asked to make up his mind .. and he went back to Allan.
The show experiences a couple of light glitches – after Like a Virgin, the 4 “disco” screens that are down for when Madonna performs didn’t got back up for a while (but lights stayed off) and the S.E.X. beds stayed flat asv the screen didn’t slide up to give it the usual angle. Also the circular platform where Madonna ends Like a Virgin didn’t go down immediately after the performance and she was helped by her people getting off the stage but in a few moments all went back to normal.
