Look Out, Mighty Europe!
The Brits performance – the second international award show in less than a month – marked the start of the second batch of promotion for the Rebel Heart album.
Madonna crossed the pond for last night’s event and will continue to promote her new record across Europe for the next couple of weeks.
As the Tribers already know the Queen of Pop will appear in three different prime-time talks shows in France, Italy and the UK. As only one show will air on the same day of the recording, please expect a bit of mix-up in the reports: for example Madonna will kick off this talk-show series today when she sits down with Jonathan Ross at the London Studios, but the show will be the last one to air, as it is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th.
Here is a recap of Madonna’s upcoming appearances:
Monday, March 2nd: Le Grand Journal de Canal + (Paris, France)
Madonna will be the guest editor of the show and will perform two songs. Polydor is running a competition to let 2 fans attend the show and also meet Madonna in the backstage. Please visit MadonnaTribe France for more details.
Sunday, March 8th: Che Tempo Che Fa (Milan, Italy)
Madonna will be the special guest of the Italian TV show airing on Rai 3. As we previously reported, she will also perform two songs. This will be Madonna’s first appearance on national television in Italy since year 2000. Universal Music Italia has been running a competition for 50 lucky fans to attend the recording of the show in Milan.
Saturday, March 14th: The Jonathan Ross Show (London, England)
The Rebel Heart promo brings Madonna and Jonathan Ross back together! The interview, which will also include two live performances, will be taped today, and Universal Music also run a competition for the fans to be part of it.
As our readers also know, Madonna recorded a series of interviews – the “Tequila shot” ones – at Sotheby‘s in New York City in January. Some of the interviews have been already broadcast on radio, tv and the internet (NRJ, Today, Exclusiv), or have been published on magazines around the world (Billboard, Gala). Expect more of those interviews to premiere in the next days. Madonna will also take some time to talk to the press while travelling across Europe.
