“I think this may be one of my favorite Madonna tours ever”
The Madonna tour rocked the house at Madison Square Garden last night and the Tribers who attended this first sold-out Rebel Heart show in New York City are writing rave reviews on the MadonnaTribe Forum (thank you, everyone!).
Here are a few excerpts:
Show was amazing. Was next to JLo she and andy danced all night. She even called him out “I see you Andy Cohen”
Have seen her in MSG since DWT have not seen a more engaged and happier audience. But I must sat the first section is not up to par. Good night tribe. From DWT808
We’re leaving the venue now, but yeah no Everybody tonight. Amy (Shumer) was the Bitch, and a few missed cues and glitches, but overall I think this may be one of my favorite Madonna tours ever.
Changes I noticed: Everybody taken out, Who’s That Girl now starts with the first verse (instead of singing the Spanish lines at the start of the song), and Madonna’s hair during the second section looked different (it looked messy… I wonder if they did that on purpose, or if the hair person didn’t have enough time during the costume change tonight). From Benji124
F-ing brilliant show. Loved it. Amy did her set from the main stage.
I saw David Hyde Pierce when leaving. Michael Kors too.
She looked happy singing the oldies. People were saying as we left ‘did she do enough 80s?’ they apparently havent seen her previous tours to know that every tour after DWT hAsnt seen this many. Lol
I find she was dancing, but no where near as much as previous tours . No complaints there as vocals were good. Yes some glitches and audio didn’t sound all that great but its MSG after all.
Will be seeing the show again tomorrow night in he lower bowl seating. In the 200s I didn’t get to stand because everyone was sitting.
Fun night and a great show.From Tallulah_Belle
