Bitches Are You In Her Gang?
The Rebel Heart Tour is now getting close to end its European leg bringing Madonna back to the English cities of Manchester and Birmingham on Monday and Wednedsay, and visiting Glasgow in Scotland this next Sunday.
The past week will be remembered for two fantastic concerts at the Accorhotels Arena in Paris Bercy, filled with Madonna’s emotional speeches, the stage debut of her son David who performed a cover of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song on December 9 and then joined his mother on the heart stage for Like a Prayer the following night.
Two small moments now seem to have been constantly added to the concert setlist: the break during Music with Madonna triggering Ric’key Pageot’s piano keys with the moves of her own body (and in Paris this became extra special as some of the notes played where from the Marseillaise, the French national anthem that Madonna invited the entire audience to sing along), and the lines from Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend who now follow La Vie En Rose – shortly after her dancers join her on stage and offer their “gifts”.
Speaking of which, as our readers already know from our Forum topics and for MadonnaTribe‘s live updates on Twitter, the Unapologetic Bitches in Bercy on the first night was no other than Jean-Paul Gaultier, who received a very special banana carring his iconic white and blue striped shirt, and Christine & the Queens on the second night. As you remember Madonna has always expressed admiration for Christine’s work and she was inspired by the video for Saint Claude when she asked J.A.C.K. to direct her Living For Love clip.
On stage on Thursday night Madonna said she was very happy to finally meet Christine, while Christine was a fantastic, cheeky and smart bitch who knew a perfect way to make use of her banana-gift.
Wrapping this past week was the Rebel Heart Tour show in Zurich, Switzerland, one of the shows who were added at a later stage to the tour itinerary which saw Madonna once again in a great mood, giving her fans the gift of Ghosttown as an extra track in the concert setlist.
It’s now again the turn of the UK fans – plus those who are coming in from all over the world – to make the three remaing concerts of this year 2015 memorable. Bitches are you in her gang?
