Madonna at the WSJ Innovator Awards
Madonna looked beyond gorgeous as she attended the WSJ 2014 Innovator Awards at MoMA last night, the event honoring the most innovative and influential talents whose groundbreaking accomplishments have shaped their respective fields.
Madonna presented the award in Performing Arts to Lil Buck.
The other honorees were: Sou Fujimoto for Architecture, Kara Walker in Art, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine in Entrepreneurshi, Nicholas Ghesquière in Fashion, René Redzepi in Food and Reshma Saujani in Technology.
One of the world’s elite dancers, Charles “Lil Buck” Riley is an ambassador of the street dance jookin’, a style that has evolved from the mid-’80s in Memphis, Tennessee, and consists of a bounce, specific steps, gliding, tippy-toeing and your own imagination.
