Madonna Fan Party 22 : Like a Virgin 30 Year Celebration
On November 12th 1984 Madonna released her Like A Virgin album, which, along with its follow up, True Blue, still epitomise the 1980s Madonna spirit today – 30 years later.
At 4.30pm on November 15th 2014, 30 years after its release – well be playing the full Like A Virgin Album : The Video Event! We want to see your best 1980s Madonna outfits and t-shirts bring out the bangles, the bows is anyone brave enough to wear a wedding dress?!
With over 25million copies sold to date, Like A Virgin launched one of the most successful eras of Madonnas career the singles from the album Material Girl, Over and Over, Angel, Into The Groove, Dress You Up Love Dont Live Here Anymore and of course Like a Virgin rode high in the singles charts around the world along with Crazy For You, Gambler, re-released Holiday and Borderline, whilst Madonnas Virgin Tour conquered venues across the USA, being topped off with a performance at Live Aid including Love Makes The World Go Round which made her a household name.
In addition to the Like A Virgin Album : Video Event, performances of songs from the album from Madonnas tours and of course, 8 hours of hits, remixes, performances and rare tracks spanning the length and depth of Madonnas career, we are also proud to host the EXCLUSIVE London Premiere of the re-mastered Reinvention Tour concert from 2.30pm – so dont you dare be late!
