Come dine with me
Lola is now a student at the University of Michigan, where classes start today, and Madonna joined her last weekend.
Spotting of the family in Ann Arbor has already started, as this report by Matt Durr from MLive.com suggests.
On Sunday, Madonna and Lola were spotted dining at local Café Felix, arriving shortly before the dinner rush and staying for about an hour, according to David Ambrose, the bar manager at the restaurant, who commented: “She was delightful. She was really low key about it.”
Madonna’s party sat in a back booth of the restaurant. The staff was aware Madonna was there, Ambrose said, but went out of their way to not draw any attention to the table.
“Its part of the business, we try to be pretty respectful of that,” he explained.
After paying her check, Madonna told the staff that she was very happy with her experience and hinted she would be back.
“That was the coolest part was at the end she said I really enjoyed myself,” Ambrose said.
As she thanked the staff for their help a few people finally noticed her and began wondering if it was really her.
“They flipped,” the bar manager said about the patrons once they realized it was actually Madonna.
Several tweets were sent out Sunday afternoon by students of the University of Michigan who said they saw Madonna and Lourdes in one of the dorms and on campus.
